Executive Chef

Chef Sean Conry is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York and has been the Executive Chef at Longboards for 5 years. Now settled in Graeagle the seventeen-year career of this chef has taken him all over the country including South Carolina, Wyoming, Oregon, New York and Florida. His love for cooking was nurtured by a family who loved to eat and cook together and the bountiful Atlantic Ocean in Florida where he spent his childhood on the beach. After graduating from the prestigious Culinary Institute of America Sean was lured out west by the mountains, laid back atmosphere and the excitement of using new ingredients. Portland, Oregon seems to be the most fitting place for a chef at the time he arrived there. The food scene in the Northwest is really fresh and the exposure he received working for Pazzo Ristorante and Caffe Mingo proved to be priceless. Now in Plumas County Sean still is striving to make Longboards the best it can be by sourcing out the finest fresh ingredients, keeping the restaurant fresh with the ever changing wine list and menus.
